About the Ford Explorer Sport

Do you remember the Ford Explorer Sport? That model was launched in the early days of the launch of the Explorer, a special trim level of the popular five-passenger sport utility vehicle. Do I have to send a summary of the experience?

I received an email today from a reader looking for an answer to this question:

Do I have to submit an experience summary with my application if I had the same classification more than five years ago? The email read:

Dear Mr. Cocciante:

Your Blog is a wonderful resource and I am happy to have discovered it. I have a question that I hope you can answer. This is the scenario: the contractor does not renew the license, the license expires, five years pass. The contractor must now apply for a new license, also known as an Original. Does the contractor have to complete and have the Certification of Experience form signed? By Bus. & Maestro. The application of the 825 (b) Code “may compute experience without taking into account the ten-year limitation.” So essentially, the Contractor can use the exact work experience used to obtain the original license, and since the Contractor was licensed, he has clearly met the four-year minimum requirement … which brings me to the question of whether Contractor must include a Work Experience Certification Form?

I have read conflicting answers on another blog. Once they said the form was not required, another time they said yes. When I called the CSLB, a technician told me that all the Contractor has to do is write “See License No. XXXX” on the Experience form; another technician had a different answer.

Hope you have some ideas for me. I sincerely appreciate your time. Maybe this topic is good for blogging. I guess I’m not the only one trying to figure this out. Also, with the fires in Northern California, it seems like a lot of guys are getting back into construction after having their licenses expired.

Sincerely,

Jessica T.

My answer:

Hi Jessica,

Thanks for the kind words.

I can tell you that as a former cslb application technician and service provider dealing with current application technicians, you would not need to submit your experience with a new application.

On the first page of the app, you will be asked to provide whatever license you are / were associated with. The application technician will look up that license number to verify that it had the same classification previously that is being applied for now and will post the application in the exams.

That being said, there is always a small chance that they will request a summary of experience and verification documents (depending on the classification requested) for this type of request.

~ End

Thank you Jessica for your email and for allowing me to post it here. Questions from my readers are always welcome.

Family entertainment centers make children’s birthdays easy

When it comes to organizing children’s birthday parties, parents can save a lot of time, trouble, and expense by hosting the party at a family entertainment center. This could mean reserving the party room at a movie theater, bowling alley, skating rink, or sports center or reserving a table at a kid-friendly place like Chuck E Cheese’s. Depending on what’s available locally, parents could even arrange to host a party at a children’s museum, aquarium, zoo, or city park.

While the sky is the limit for a given parent in terms of party location, the best locations are those that offer full service party planning and coordination. For example, family entertainment centers that run a really short birthday party business will take care of everything from decorations to dishes to food to entertainment to cleaning.

The top three reasons parents prefer to host their children’s parties outdoors are:

convenience

By far the number one reason parents love using family entertainment centers for birthday parties is convenience. Especially in families where both parents work, it can be very difficult to find time to buy all the party supplies, send invitations, reserve the entertainment, make the kids kid-friendly and decorate the house, etc. When investing in the assistance of a family entertainment center, on the other hand, parents can complete virtually every step with a simple phone call to the location. Once the date and time are set and a few questions about food and other details are answered, all parents have to do is buy the child a gift and show up on the spot.

Value

Just think of all the party supplies needed to throw an amazing birthday party: balloons, streamers, and other decorations; cups, plates, cutlery, napkins and tablecloths; gift bags and party favors; cake and sandwiches … the list could go on! To make matters worse, all of these items need to be coordinated with the theme of the party. Buying everything separately can quickly get very expensive. However, when parents allow a family entertainment center to provide all of these supplies, significant savings are possible. This is because family entertainment centers buy their supplies in bulk at a discounted price and can pass on those savings to parents. Family entertainment centers also offer integrated entertainment, further reducing the cost of the party for parents.

Clean up

Cleaning up after a child’s birthday party can be a real pain, especially if very young children are involved. Children do not intend to make dough, but at a certain age it seems to be in their nature. If parents host the party away from home, they can avoid the hassle of potentially spending hours trying to remove the chocolate glaze from the wall or remove the pizza sauce from the carpet. Family entertainment centers offer children’s spaces that are easy for staff to clean, so parents don’t have to worry about cleaning up all spills right away. Instead, they can leave it up to the on-site staff.

With so many benefits of hosting children’s birthday parties away from home, it’s amazing that more companies aren’t jumping on the train and offering kid-friendly spaces!

Type 2 Diabetes: Is Fasting Cardio Right For Diabetics?

One type of exercise you’ve probably heard of is fasted cardio training. The idea behind this training is that you wake up and before eating something (fasting), you do a cardiovascular workout.

In theory, this is supposed to help amplify your overall fat burning rate because you won’t have to worry about burning calories from the foods you just ate for breakfast. Therefore, your body can begin to burn the stores of body fat that it has. But is this training the best for people diagnosed with type 2 diabetes? Or would it be better to broadcast it in full?

Here are some quick points for type 2 diabetics to keep in mind …

1. The level of intensity. The first thing to consider is your blood sugar level. You will most likely need to use a lower overall intensity level when doing fasted cardio as your blood sugar will be below the best level for high intensity training.

Now won’t be the time to do those high-intensity interval sprints that you normally do. Instead, you’ll be stuck doing steady-state cardio training. If you don’t mind steady-state exercise, this might be fine, but for those who get bored quickly, it’s just not ideal.

2. The issue of blood sugar. You know that as a type 2 diabetic who takes medications to lower blood sugar, it is not advisable to go for hours without eating. In fact, when you wake up from your overnight fast, your blood sugar levels may be much lower than you would like.

Now if you exercise, this will only amplify the effect. For many type 2 diabetics, fasting cardiovascular training could potentially give them dangerously low blood sugar levels, making this type of training completely impossible.

If you’re trying fasting cardio, be sure to speak with your doctor before doing so. You will also need to monitor your blood sugar level very carefully as you go through your exercise session.

There you have the two main points to consider about fasting cardio. Still, the fat loss benefits aren’t even that pronounced because the intensity of cardiovascular exercise does decrease. It will be just as beneficial for your body if you do a HIIT session later in the day after you have eaten some food and have the energy for the most intense exercise.

Hair Bow Business: 11 Tips to Start Selling Hair Bows

1) Caution! Don’t start online “…” yet: Everybody wants to sell on the internet as it opens up their business to the whole world. Many people try to start selling online right away through a website only to find that they make very few sales. Why? Nobody finds your site. Selling online is great, but it can take time to set up sites or drive traffic to your site. Simply put, starting a website will get you nowhere if you don’t get traffic to view it. There are many variables for Google to notice your website, but we will save that for a later article. The easiest ways to start selling online are to list your bows on eBay or Etsy. Both sites allow a beginner to display their products with ease. If your product is competitively priced and has good images to display, you should be able to immediately start selling through these sites.

2) Marketing of local companies: We recommend this as one of the best ways to start selling your hair ties and ribbon products. That is why we list it as the first “to do” item. Many people try to start selling online right away through a website. Selling online is great, but it can take time to set up sites or drive traffic to your site. To get started quickly, focus your efforts initially on your local market. Find local boutiques and children’s stores and visit us with samples of their products. Make sure you have an idea of how the two of you will benefit from working together. You can sell your bows at wholesale price or calculate a commission for the store if they agree to sell your hair bows. Get in touch with local school dance teams and entertainers. Consider creating fundraisers for the school and having “bow parties.” Beauty salons are also great avenues to sell your bows. Finally, do what we did at the start and sell at some nearby community craft shows or public events where you can buy a stand.

3) Social networks: Facebook and Twitter and similar networking sites are all the rage these days. Don’t forget to use these sites to market your business. Learn about the options for each type of site and focus your efforts on building a following by posting excellent relevant posts. Use these sites to display images of your creations and post bow ideas to your followers. Announcing promotions and sales is essential on social networks.

4) Blogs: There are many blogging sites that you can use. Blogger and Word Press are two popular options where you can easily create a blog for your business. Post photos and write about your products. Create creative designs that grab your readers’ attention. Make sure to link your blog to your website, which can help drive sales.

5) eBay and Etsy: Instead of starting with a website, start building business online with eBay or Etsy. These sites already have a large number of buyers and you can list your bows here for a small fee. Both sites allow a beginner to display their products easily and effectively. Key points for selling through these sites: Price your bows competitively and use good images and descriptions. Once you have developed a good number of sales through these sites, it may be time to consider starting your own branded website.

6) Starting your own website: We started our first website at WahmShoppes. For $ 8 a month, you can open your own eCommerce store. Customize the look of your store using any of its various templates. It takes time to start receiving web traffic organically. If your budget allows, Google’s ad words are an immediate way to start driving traffic to your website. With ad words, you only pay when someone clicks on your ad. Be careful as it can be quite expensive, especially if people just click and don’t buy. Organically gaining traffic is an issue in itself, but be sure to submit your site to search engines and some online directories to get started. To accept payments online, we suggest that you use PayPal and / or Google Checkout to save on monthly merchant account fees until your volume indicates that the merchant account will pay for itself.

7) Ribbon suppliers: If you are going to sell hair ties, you will need a lot of ribbon. Sure you can go to Wal-mart or Hobby Lobby, but generally the selection will be smaller and the prices will be higher compared to finding a niche online store that serves the hair bow industry. Look for a company that offers abundant variety, quality products, great prices, great customer service, and fast shipping. You want to build a long-term relationship with your supplier and these above points are key to your sanity and success. Make sure you can get color cards from your suppliers so that you can accurately match various colors in the ties you create with actual samples. Don’t rely on computer monitor images for color matching. Let your customers use the cards to choose their colors for a custom bow made to their specifications. Do a web search on a search engine for “hair bow supplies” for a list of good suppliers.

8) Hair bow templates: Save yourself a lot of time and frustration. Use hair bow templates! Always create a consistent bow size and eliminate waste of grosgrain ribbon by using a template. When you do an online search for “hair bow templates,” you will find several retailers that offer templates that you can purchase online.

9) Hair Bun Instructions: There are so many different types of hair bows that you will never learn them all. Many sites sell instructions, but others offer them for free. Search Google and even EzineArticles to find a wealth of free instructions. If you prefer video tutorials, check out YouTube for some great videos.

10) Shipping: The goal of every business is to get to the point where they have so many businesses that they can’t keep up. When we got to this point, we bought a shipping tool called Ship Rush. This program links your computer and electronic scale and allows you to click and copy customer information directly from the customer’s email or receipt. Then quickly print a custom shipping label for the US Post Office or UPS without you having to enter any address information. Believe me, it will become a huge time and money saver as your business grows if you ship a lot of packages.

11) Financial software: The number one reason businesses fail is because they don’t understand and manage their finances properly. Your business finances must be kept organized and your cash flow must be managed carefully. With money constantly flowing in and out, this can quickly become a real challenge. Using accounting software like Quicken or QuickBooks can keep your finances organized. Talk to your CPA to see what they recommend.

Does chicken enlarge your breasts?

Chicken is believed to make the breasts grow larger. Chickens are sometimes injected with estrogen, which is the female hormone, so that they can grow taller at a faster rate. If you eat this type of chicken or eat the eggs of these chickens, you will notice an increase in your breasts, butt and thighs. This is because estrogens tend to enlarge these areas. However, the downside to this is that taking too much estrogen can cause breast inhibitors to activate and stop growing at a certain level and too much estrogen can make you susceptible to certain types of cancer.

There is no miracle food to enlarge your breasts, you have to add weight in order for your breasts to increase in size as a result of weight gain. There are foods that will help increase the size of your breasts. Milk is one of those things that will make your breasts grow bigger and it is also nutritious. However, do not consume too much, as it will make you gain weight everywhere.

Fruits and vegetables are also good for a larger bust, as they contain phytoestrogens that contribute to the fullness and firmness of the breasts, as they are similar to estrogens. Fennel is also rich in phytoestrogens and will cause an increase in the size of the teats. Fenugreek is rich in phytonutrients so that your breasts grow bigger and firmer. It also stimulates milk production in nursing mothers. Fenugreek mimics estrogens so your body develops new, firmer breast tissue and increases the size of your breasts. Be careful not to take too much, as you can suffer from side effects such as nausea and abdominal pain.

Other foods that are good in this regard are oatmeal, tofu, and wheat germ. If you eat a lot of chicken due to hormones, it is good to eat a lot of fruits and vegetables as they are a good source of fiber and these will remove excess estrogen from the chicken you are eating. Pregnancy and the use of birth control pills will make your breasts grow larger as estrogen levels in your body increase and make your breasts enlarge.

If you want to increase your cup size by up to two cup sizes, then food alone will not give you the breasts you want. You may need to try a combination of natural breast augmentation methods. It will also take some time to be able to see the results you want because foods work naturally to improve the size and shape of your breasts and this takes time. You can also do weight training exercises to make your pectoral muscles grow and your breasts look bigger. You can also do exercises that lift your breast tissues to make them look firmer and better.

The 2015 IT Trends You Really Need To Know About!

Keeping up with the demands of technology is not an easy task. We are in 2015 and a lot of predictions are expected about where the technology is going this year. So what trends should you worry about, and what are just predictions that might never happen? After all, money is tight and you need to spend money where it will produce the most benefit for your business.

We analyzed three major announcements produced at the end of last year and summarized the findings for you. They are from Accenture and Gartner (references at the bottom of this article). When looking at the three learned pronouncements, there are a lot of common ground: digitization, personalized experiences, Internet of things, platform companies, big data, and workforce shifting to cope with the new IT environment.

Prepare for the fully digitized world

The buzzword for 2015 is sure to be SMAC: social, mobile, analytics and cloud. These are the four areas that will need your full attention as we move into 2015 and plan for the years to come.

A quick glance at malls, cafes and restaurants will show you thousands of people glued to tablets and cell phones. People are even starting to wear new technology on their wrists, like smart watches and fitness bands. Google’s glasses did not initially take off, but they will return in some format. People communicate, post, email, and shop through smaller mobile screens. An envious look at the big four: Google, Amazon, Facebook, and Twitter quickly shows that mobile computing, shopping, and social media are prevalent and profitable. Oh, those beautiful “P” words!

The rise of mobile computing means that people want to have their things at their fingertips. Unfortunately, that, whether it’s a movie, a photo, or a song, means large files. Fortunately, cloud computing is becoming sophisticated enough to handle these large files and deliver them where people need their data.

Gartner believes that the combination of mobile and cloud computing will lead to intelligent applications that can use storage efficiently, reducing bandwidth demands and allowing simultaneous use on multiple devices. They believe that computing will need to move away from static models to take advantage of the rich APIs that cloud computing provides.

The consequence of much more activity is that much more data is being produced. Called Big Data, this mass and is a great mass of data is what many CIOs are struggling to understand in hopes of gaining a marketing advantage over their rivals.

Internet of me

Accenture has coined the phrase “Internet of me” to explain that now everyone is looking for a personal experience online. Social media and shopping are changing and people are now demanding the same personal interaction that they used to enjoy at the mall or coffee shop with their friends. The company that can individually personalize a person’s interaction with them will earn that customer’s loyalty and money.

Gartner noted that there will be an increase in wearable technology, as well as a saturation of mobile technology. Computing will be everywhere very soon. They suggested that instead of focusing on the technology being used, companies should focus on the user experience. On this they agree with Accenture: how the customer personally interacts with a company is much more important than the device they use. Gartner notes that along with this new personalized experience, there will be a need to enhance context-aware security.

Get on a platform or better yet build the platform

Accenture advocates a platform strategy as the future of commerce. The likes of Amazon started it with Amazon Market Place, Apple with iTunes, and Etsy with its marketplace. Now other well-known front-line companies are doing the same.

The rise of social, mobile and cloud technology is driving this business strategy and SMAC’s quarter, analytics is finding markets, testing products, and rewarding customers. The cloud encourages easy content production and availability to potential customers around the world. Social media connects these people, and mobile technology makes everything viable, engaging, and fast to create, market, and execute a sale.

Gartner calls it Web-Scale IT and believes that more companies will start thinking and operating like Amazon, Google and Facebook. They believe this will start with the merger of Development and Operations (called DevOps) and will begin the move towards large-scale web-based operations.

Everything is coming together now

Internet of Things (IoT): a large number of objects connected via the Internet with a unique identifier that allows them to communicate with each other without human interference is growing. Gartner believes this will be critical to product sales and operational processes, and businesses should focus on this technology and that IoT is the driving force behind the digital economy.

Growth of the digital ecosystem

Gartner believes that the digital economy is made up of digital businesses that blend physical worlds with our digital world and that this will eventually change the way companies work and interact with their customers, suppliers, and developers.

In 2014, Accenture wanted companies to use technology as an engine for growth. In 2015, they urge companies to go digital by leveraging their customers, suppliers, data sources and alliance partners digitally. For the brave there is also the option to include things in this digital ecosystem. They believe that future industry power brokers will stand at the center of a digital ecosystem in the same way that Google is the power behind internet marketing and Amazon at the center of internet shopping. Their belief is that these new exponentially growing power brokers will be able to create markets rather than having to find and develop existing markets.

Stop drowning in data

The Internet of Things and the rapid adoption of mobile technology, social media, and cloud computing mean that there is an incredible amount of information being sent to any organization. Any interaction, be it research, social, entertainment or shopping, leaves a digital trail. Smart marketers have always known that this data can provide information that can be used to identify markets and buy signals. Unfortunately, this data has now been coined as Big Data and companies are now drowning in data and information. Fortunately, other companies are emerging with analytical tools and software intelligence systems to delve into this Big Data and extract the required information.

Accenture believes that taming this data by using the correct analytical methods will enable a company to make innovative decisions throughout the company. Gartner says that rather than Big Data being important, it is the questions that are asked of the data and the answers produced that should be the focus of the CIO and the company’s strategists.

Smart machines that react to people

Gartner believes that once companies conquer Big Data analytics and the personal interface, this will open the way to intelligent machines that will interact with humans, learn what is needed, and react accordingly. Some may see this as a nightmare, others a logical step forward. Whatever your point of view, the company that leads the way will be as innovative as Google, Amazon and Facebook combined.

Take a closer look at your current IT workforce

Accenture believes that very soon all CIOs will go digital and that humans and smart technology will need to collaborate and find a way to work together.

Gartner surveyed 2,800 CIOs from 84 countries, showing that most were aware of what it took to be successful in this happy new world, and 75% mentioned the need to change their style of business. leadership. There is definitely an increase in the role of a DIO (Digital Information Officer) and many more CIOs report directly to the CEO (Director of Operations), showing an increase in the prominence of IT within a company.

Gartner highlights two potential problem areas: lack of portfolio management capacity and ineffective risk management. The ability to manage projects and activities across a wide range of platforms and processes will become more important as the digital world evolves. Changes always bring risk and the correct management and mitigation of this risk will be key to profitability and growth.

Other trend forecasters have cited the need for internet marketing functions to merge with digital marketing functions, leading to a better customer experience and winning more profitable potential markets.

Other interesting trends

Gartner believes that the rise of cheaper 3D printing will lead to major changes in some fields, such as medical and some manufacturing, changing the way they produce their products.

Lastly, Gartner believes that security will obviously remain important, but the rapid emergence of a fully digital experience means it shouldn’t impede progress. This means that 100% will no longer be possible, leading to the emergence of more sophisticated risk assessment and mitigation systems.

There could be trouble ahead

The sheer scale and rapidity of the changes forecast for 2015, combined with the complexity of micromanaging personalized experiences, means that many small and midsize businesses are outsourcing their CIO functions to specialized companies that know how to deal with these factors. Larger companies with higher budgets are also looking for experienced assistance. There are a lot of job postings for digital jobs and DIOs are being searched.

Data analysts and security specialists are emerging, as well as companies that can make sense of Big Data and guide companies through this maze. Finally, cybersecurity is changing as the technological framework that guides products to consumers changes. Security has always been important to CIOs and many are now looking for consultants who can guide them through this new maze of change. Biz Guru is one of those companies that is aware of the 2015 IT trends and can help and guide you, as well as managing their social networks. media and marketing and professional writing requirements.
