In the current Power Rangers: RPM series, the Red / Power Ranger operator is Scott Truma. In all series, the red Power Ranger is the leader of the Power Rangers. This is especially true of RPM’s Power Ranger series, where each Power Ranger wears their number sewn on their chest (this is a great help in helping your young children count). Ranger numbers are given by Zord, but since the sixth zord has no pilot, there is no sixth ranger in the numbering sequence. In The RPM series, the Power Rangers number 7 in total, with ranger numbers 1-5 and 7 and 8.
Although Scott is stubborn and sometimes a little braggart, he takes his role as leader of the Power Rangers very seriously, ensuring that new Power Rangers must earn the trust of the group before trusting them. Most importantly, Scott tries to keep the group together as a team.
Before keeping Corinth safe and stopping any Venjix assault, Scott Scott and his older brother Marcus were Air Force Eagle Squad pilots. Scott’s father (Colonel Mason Truman), was Scott’s overprotective (Colonel Mason believed Scott was not ready to handle the front lines and, as such, wanted Scott to support his brother); this tended to put Scott in the shadow of his older brother and, as such, Scott’s father tended to put more faith in his older son.
Unfortunately, in the original battles against Venjix’s forces to secure Corinth, Scott’s brother Marcus was killed when his fighter plane was shot down, thankfully Scott managed to eject in time and was rescued by Summer. During the following year, Scott was cast as the Ranger Operator Series Red.
The RPM Power Ranger series is set in a post-apocalyptic future where a computer virus called Venjix has taken over every computer on Earth, rendering all communication useless while creating an army of robot droids to destroy everything, being the last refuge of humanity the city of Corinth, the Power Rangers need to protect the city as the last human outpost from destruction
The Blue Power Ranger is Flynn McAllistair; is a laid back mechanic from Scotland with a basic understanding of technological devices. Flynn has always envisioned himself as a hero, growing up on a comic book diet and a desire to help people. During the Battle of Corinth, Flynn returned to the city risking his own life to bring a bus full of refugees, impressing both his father and Dr. K, who later cast Flynn as the Blue Series Ranger Operator. Flynn is number two.
The Power Rangers have turned 17 and many of the original Mighty Morphin Power Rangers fans are now young adults buying adult size costumes for themselves to get into the action this Halloween.
Turn on this halloween and go power rangers …
